Although every attempt has been made to ensure the correctness and reasonableness of the information and tools provided here, we remind you that you use this website entirely at your own risk.
Working with several of you, we have successfully tested this website with recent versions of the following operating system/browser combinations:
If your browser is not on this list, your best option is to install a recent version of one of the browsers we mention above onto your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
Apple Safari is bundled with all Apple desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, and, therefore, we provide no guidance on installing this browser.
The Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox browsers for smartphones are available from your app store: on Apple systems, tap or click on the App Store icon; on Android systems, tap on the Google Play app icon; then search for the browser you want and install it.
If you are using a desktop or laptop computer, you can install the browser you want by searching its name with a search engine such as Google. However, make sure that you download Chrome from a Google-operated website, Edge from a Microsoft-operated website, and Firefox from a Mozilla-operated website; browsers downloaded from other sources should be assumed to be unsafe.
The Safari browser is available only on Apple computers, smartphones, and tablets running macOS or iOS. Go to Settings and find the Safari browser icon in the panel on the left-hand side of your screen; tap or double-click on this icon. Scroll all the way to the bottom in the panel on the right-hand side of your screen, and tap or double-click on the Advanced button. Slide the "switch" for JavaScript to the right to turn JavaScript on.
Instructions for updating Safari are available directly from Apple here.
The Chrome browser is available on all of the operating systems mentioned. To enable JavaScript, find Settings and tap or double-click on the button. Then scroll down and tap or double-click on Site settings. Then tap or double-click on JavaScript and slide the "switch" to the right.
Instructions for updating Chrome are available directly from Google here.
The Microsoft Edge browser is available for many operating systems, but we have information only for Windows. Find the Settings. In the panel on the left-hand side of your screen find Cookies and site permissions and tap or double-click on it. Then, in the panel on the right-hand side, scroll down to find JavaScript; tap or click on this, then slide the "switch" to the right to enable JavaScript.
Instructions for updating Edge are available directly from Microsoft here.
If you are using Mozilla Firefox, you should be good to go: It is no longer possible to disable JavaScript on recent versions of Mozilla Firefox, so we provide no instructions on re-enabling it.
Instructions for updating Firefox are available directly from Mozilla here.
In this case, please: (i) try to find other instructions for your operating system and browser combination using an Internet search engine such as Google; and (ii) if you succeed in activating JavaScript, please let us know how you did it so that we can post your procedure here for the benefit of other users.
